FAD Gallery Bar is one of Melbourne’s most loved independent laneway bars, and right now is a damn fine time to visit. Art on every wall, happy hours every night, signature cocktails, special Stand-Up comedy nights, espresso martinis and Fireball specials all night, and the kind of vibes where people from all walks of life can have the time they deserve and be themselves. FAD Sunny Sips: Happy Hour Menu, 4pm to 7pm (3pm on Fridays)
Bright happy days call for damn fine drinks. FAD Sunny Sips is our happy hour menu, running 4pm to 7pm every night we’re open, with a cheeky extra hour on Fridays from 3pm. Grab the crew, or come solo and make some new mates.
- Tins of beer, $7
- Basic spirits and mixer, $8: Sundalicious vodka, gin, bourbon or scotch
- Malocchio hard seltzer, $8 at happy hour (usually $12)
- House wines and bubbles, $8 at happy hour (usually $12): Pinot Grigio, Shiraz or bubbles
- Doom Juice range, $10 at happy hour (usually $15): Doom Juice Weiss, a funky natural white with apple, banana, citrus and zing, or Doom Juice Rougé, a funky chilled red with Shiraz and Grenache, raspberries, cherries and a whisper of earth (both vegan-friendly)
- Cocktails, $16 at happy hour (usually $22): the Barking Mad Iced Espresso Martini (Sheepdog Peanut Butter whiskey over ice, and it doesn’t get much better) and the FADstar Martini, our damn fine twist on the classic Pornstar Martini
- Signature Fireball cocktails, $10 ALL NIGHT: Ginger Balls of Fire or The Toffee Apple

Wednesday Nights: Midweek Happy Hour in Chinatown
Midweek doesn’t need a reason. On Wednesdays we’re open from 4pm with happy hours until 7pm, cold drinks and absolutely no plans required. Pop in after work,pre-dinner, pre theatre show grab a Fireball cocktail or a chilled Doom Juice, claim a vintage couch and let the week sort itself out.
Damn Fine Laughs: Special Stand-Up Comedy Nights
Damn Fine Laughs has gone from weekly to special. Instead of every Wednesday, we’re bringing Melbourne’s best stand-up to Corrs Lane for one-off comedy nights with special and surprise acts. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming shows: follow us on Instagram and check back here for dates, and grab your spot through Damn Fine Laughs when a show is announced.
I’ve left out “free entry” and “$10 drinks”, since those were the weekly night’s deals and I don’t know what the special events will offer.
Friday & Saturday Night: Damn Fine Times, Every Single Week
Friday and Saturday nights at FAD are something special. Hang out with friends old and new, soak up the best vibes in Melbourne and enjoy damn fine drinks all night long. Fridays kick off early with happy hour from 3pm, and bring $5 pies and pasties too. This is what life is all about. Get in early, stay late. Free entry.
